My brother was introduced to gambling when he was only fifteen years old. After high school, he decided not to pursue his college. Instead, he joined a group of adults who were into gambling. They were into different kinds of gambling. However, he was assigned to gamble in casinos. At the age of twenty-three, my brother was starting to become rich. He was earning a lot of money. When he finally got his one million dollars, he decided to quit the group. The group did not mind him leaving because they earned a lot from him. However, my brother started losing the money. In less than a year, his money was only $ 20,000.00. He could not believe that he lost almost one million dollars in less than a year. He was deeply troubled when he approached me. I told him to give up the casino for good. He was tentative because he wanted to win again the money that he lost. I told him that all the money that he had came from the casino. He would even lose more if he continues to gamble. I suggested to him to look for a job or to put up a small business which will divert his attention to something more worthwhile. A day after, he told me that he would take some crash courses that may lead him in working in a casino. Since he knew a lot about casino, I agreed to his decision but with the condition that he will not gamble anymore.
